About Kayla Richardson
Kayla Richardson began her journey in music at the age of 3 by learning to play the violin. Growing up, she played at church events, recitals, weddings, and more. At the age of 13, she began taking guitar lessons with her uncle and soon after discovered her passion for songwriting.
Kayla wrote her first song when she was 15 years old and went on to release her first EP Album "Seventeen" when she was 17. She has also been featured as a guest artist on multiple radio shows including The Hacker Morning Show, and KWTS: "The One".
Kayla has been an opening artist for Lindsey Lane, Chad Miller & The Good Fortune, and Hilary Marie, and has been a featured guest artist for Insufficient Funds, Young Country, and Nashville singer/songwriter Trent Willmon.
Kayla has been playing gigs around the Texas panhandle as a fiddle player and solo artist since she was 15. She also performed locally as a fiddle player and vocalist in The Band Monarch for two and a half years. She currently exclusively performs solo gigs and duo gigs with her fiance around the panhandle, but loves collaborating with local artists and making new friends!
